About Your Job:

In this position, the responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following: 

  • Manage and Maintain QDF F & B operations as per set policies & procedures to ensure full compliance.
  • Planning, identifying, communicating and delegating are the key responsibilities & tasks to QDF employees to ensure fair task distribution and maximizing the productivity of the employees through efficiently contributing towards profitability. The tasks include, organization of staff duties and responsibilities as per grades, ensure staff grooming standard met at all times as per company policy, schedules staff for training and ensure all staff have been through HACCP trainings.
  • Actively drive sales & improvements through operational performance excellence to ensure all guests are provided with outstanding service, and sales budget are achieved.
  • Assist in the development of marketing initiatives, menu items, and other items to stimulate growth in sales for each outlet and a variety of latest market developments.
  • Coordination of all stock controls and cash handling processes to ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Initiates an ongoing product improvement program that ensures consistent improvement and evolution of the offer within QDF F&B business locations.
  • In co-ordination with the Chefs, reviews the F&B offer to further develop the QDF F&B brand offerings to ensure its relevant, fresh, innovative and achieving desired returns.
  • Ensure all staff are meeting all established standards of service. Monitor and test service skills of staff, retrain and reinforce all standards on food and quality and service details daily. Provide feedback and appraisals as necessary.
  • Plan and conduct meetings for outlets on a monthly basis to ensure staff is correctly communicated with and that staff are consistently trained and well-motivated. Attend interdepartmental meetings to ensure good cross communication between departments.
  • Ensure all current Accounting and Human Resources policies are being adhered to. Report any issues or grievances to the Manager Food and Beverage and or Human Resources.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

 Qualifications:

Essential

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Food safety level 2/3
  • Leadership level 1

Preferred

  • HACCP Certification experience

 Previous Experience:

Essential

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible F & B management experience.
  • Experience as Duty manager or Chain of restaurant Manager within a similar culture within an international Airport, Hotel or Shopping complex with a multi-million turnover business.
  • Health & Safety certification and experience in HACCP/ FSA/USDA implementation

  • EPOS and Cash reconciliation and handling with knowledge of cash office lodging and practices.
  • Working knowledge of multi-currency.
