Assistant Accountant (Contract)

The Company

Our client is an internationally known charity, with their New Zealand office based in central Auckland. Due to their current Assistant Accountant moving on, they are seeking an experienced accounts contractor to cover the role for the next two months, while the role is recruited permanently. If the person performs well, there is the potential for them to be hired permanently.

The Role

Working within their Micorsoft Dynamics AX ERP system, this role will be responsible for the organisations transactional finance, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, GST processing, etc.

About You

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Experience in a similar transactional accounting role
  • Experience with MS Dynamics AX is highly desirable
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Available immediately
