The Brand Manager will be accountable for the key brand of our client and responsible for building brand image, penetrating into the local market in Malaysia. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Conceptualize overall marketing strategy in line with brand and company direction
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing plan, marketing campaigns, consumer promotions and activations, trade marketing plans to support overall brand growth and profitability
  • Manage overall brand portfolio and product mix to maximize profitability
  • Manage all marketing A&P budget efficiently, and monitor its effectiveness to ensure positive ROI
  • Analyze performance of new product development activations, track ROI
  • Monitor, analyse and evaluate market and brand trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity to identify market opportunities
  • Lead new product development process, closely working with product development and regulatory affairs team
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Measure and monitor key performance indicators, ensure right actions are taken for KPI to be on track
  • Work closely with the sales channel to develop integrated trade marketing activations and ensure consistency in brand image across all distribution channels
