Job Purpose Performs all activities necessary to process payroll, including maintaining related records, filing tax reports, preparing accounting transactions and documents. Required Learning Matric Relevant Diploma / Degree 5 years payroll experience Strong Microsoft Office skills CRS experience advantageous Key Job Outputs Performing the Salaries reconciliation Provisions for leave are calculated Tax run and related documents administered, understanding of tax Legislation / directives Long service rewards and payments administered Internal & external customer queries handled e.g. Medical Aid queries Processing of new engagements and terminations Processing of salary increases and other related earning such as overtime, sales incentives etc. Processing of car allowances Processing of deductions such as provident/ fuel and maintenance costs Medial Aid/UIF/PAYE/SDL Tax run and IRP5’s Keeping Employee files updated Reconciliations of control accounts Payroll comparisons Reconcile payroll Demonstrate competency in assisting employees & management with enquiries IRP5 reconciliations and submissions WCA recons and submissions Core Competencies Organisational and planning skills Detail and accuracy orientated Good communication skills Taking initiative and being pro-active Excellent inter-personal skills Team player Ability to work under pressure Ethical responsibility
