This role is well positioned in the North West and commutable from Liverpool, Preston, Wigan, Warrington, Manchester, Stockport and Northern Cheshire areas.

The Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as the initial interface between the customer representatives and the business

  • Utilise existing and former customer contacts to identify new business opportunities both UK and overseas

  • Receive customer requests for quotation enquiries, requests for information, etc

  • Co-ordinate and support suitable response via liaison directed through the business

  • Establish monitoring procedures to ensure customer commitments are met

  • Support the customer request for quotation process as required

  • Any other duties, appropriate to the role, as requested by the Director of Business Development

The Person

We are looking for an established Sales Professional to join on an initial freelance basis;

It is essential you have -

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in engineering / manufacturing sales or Account Management (Automotive / Aerospace / Precision Engineering / Off Highway / Fabrications / Metal Pressing etc)

  • Technical understanding within Engineering & Manufacture (I.e. ability to read technical drawings etc)

  • Ability to work self-motivated, independent and in international reporting line

  • A natural seller with strong Sales skills

  • A persuasive, motivating and winning personality

  • Competent in creating and holding professional presentations with demanding OEM customers
