Knowledge and understanding of the company policies and procedures applicable to the specific work environment to ensure that work outcomes are compliant to the policies and procedures. Sound knowledge and understanding of the Safety, Health and Environmental Act and the application thereof. Sound knowledge and understanding of the transformation, the instruments and processes included in the transformation and the leadership requirements to ensure that the transformational process is concluded. Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills the ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes sound business case development and approvals skills good understanding of the procurement process including negotiation with third parties good knowledge of programme and project management methods including MSP and PRINCE2 good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures sufficient seniority and credibility to advise project teams on their projects in relation to the programme the ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems Applicable post graduate degree Registration with relevant professional body will be advantageous At least 5 years’ experience in management Relevant business experience Relevant exposure in an regulatory environment Working knowledge of the relevant requirements (i.e. NNR Act, SHEQ-INS, OSH Act, and Nuclear Energy Act. Hazardous Substance Act, Medicines and related substances control Act) Experience within a highly regulated environment Sound knowledge and understanding of quality management, the systems and processes involved, as well as the legal and regulatory requirements
