Reporting to Business Unit Manager Pain & Gastroenterology Job Purpose To plan, develop and implement brand strategies, plans and programs for the portfolio, ensuring that the strategic business goals and financial objectives are met. Qualifications Science Degree Post-graduate Marketing would be an advantage Skills / Competencies Required Previous Product Management experience is required with a minimum of 3 years’ in the pharmaceutical industry GI therapeutic area experience will be an advantage, however it is not a pre-requisite Thorough knowledge of the Rx pharmaceutical market Computer Literacy, Communication & Presentation skills Key Job Outputs Planning - Strategic & Operational planning Develop brand strategies and appropriate brand plans, with objectives, resources, KPIs and expected returns Develop and implement strategies and associated brand plan for Biologic pipeline Implementation Drive successful implementation of brand strategies and tactics Market/customer insights Develop customer understanding, analysis and insight generation Develop deep knowledge of market dynamics, needs and opportunities for the brands Network and build relationships with selected customers Work closely with sales team to develop necessary sales tools and training Monitoring and control Manage and measure overall investment and sales according to pre-determined KPIs Manage forecasting Managing external relationships with MNC partners Core Competencies Analytical thinking Business development Ability to integrate knowledge and think strategically Decision making & problem solving Flexible and adaptive Initiative Planning & prioritising Drive for results Ability to develop, negotiate & communicate business initiatives across all levels in the company and with international partners Operate with discipline
