We are looking for an experienced Project Manager, with a background and/or interest in the organisational learning and development space.

About the role:
This role of Project Manager is pivotal to the success of this business as it effectively manages each specific L&D project from conception to completion. The Project Manager will plan and manage multiple stakeholders, projects and tasks simultaneously, on time, with quality, and to budget, in line with client satisfaction. This person needs to be experienced in influencing, realtionship building and will need to have excellent leadership skills, in order to lead and manage performance within your project teams.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage, plan and monitor resource allocation, project documentation, team members (Facilitators, Design team, Project Co-ordinator) and budgets from conception to end.
  • Anticipate, manage and resolve changes and risks to projects, people and priorities, and ensure escalation as required.
  • Ensure all projects meet the TEC/NZQA compliance requirements set out at the start of each project.
  • Use influencing and leadership skills to lead and manage people‚Äôs performance within your project teams.
  • Collaboratively work with colleagues to plan, schedule and prioritise projects and tasks, and complete regular checks throughout projects to ensure positive progress.
  • Provide key client relationships services at all stages of projects.
  • Take responsibility for your role, but look for opportunities to help others fulfil and enjoy their roles and, in the process have fun.

Must haves:

  • At least 3-5 years + of project management experience
  • Relevant experience/interest in Organisational Learning and Development and/or Human Resources
  • Flexibility to work 40 hours/week in a 9 month contract
  • Must be motivated to lead team and enjoy working in a team dynamic
  • Must be a high performer and provide proof of high profile project management
  • Experience using project management software and budge management
  • Excellent verbal, written, oral and aural communication skills, with a high command of the English language
